Pistons & Pretzels Sunday
11:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Turin, Italy

Ciao ragazzi, Pistons & Pretzels Italy is back! Bigger and better than ever before.
On June 5-7, our beloved community car event returns to beautiful Turin – for the first time ever, turning Pistons & Pretzels into a full-weekend experience.
This is more than just another edition. It’s the beginning of something new.
We’ve always celebrated remarkable artistry and exceptional engineering with a diverse showcase of standout vehicles. And that won’t change. But Design, to us, has never been just about what meets the eye.
We see Design as a cultural force. One that shapes identity, writes history, and drives evolution. A universal language that connects people not only within the mobility design community, but far beyond it.
So, with this new chapter, Pistons & Pretzels expands its perspective. From simply celebrating beautiful designs to positioning design as a cultural catalyst that sparks visions, shares knowledge, bridges disciplines, and creates relevance within the cities we enter.
The new agenda?
Turin is not just the backdrop for launching this new concept. It’s part of the story.
With everything Pistons & Pretzels aims to become, there is no better place to begin than Italy. More precisely, Turin. A city where design is woven deeply into its history, identity, and industrial evolution.
And right at the centre: the Barriera District.
Once a purely industrial area, the neighbourhood is now reinventing itself. Driven by Barriera Design District, it is blossoming into Turin’s most dynamic creative hub. Here, international art and culture don’t just coexist, they actively shape the urban ecosystem to enable meaningful exchange across sectores and deliver real value to the entire region.
Exactly the kind of environment where Pistons & Pretzels belongs.
Barriera Design District

Barriera Design District is a city imaging project.
A collective initiative aimed at creating and promoting the best possible image of Barriera di Milano, and by extension, of the entire city, with the goal of generating tangible, shared value.

Set within Turin’s historic industrial heart, Docks Dora reflects the kind of transformation that defines the city today.
Built in the early 20th century directly connected to the railway lines that powered the city’s industrial rise, it’s a place defined by movement and purpose.
That core still remains, yet is has evolved: what once enabled industrial exchange now fosters creative dialogue and cultural evolution.
The place itself has become a symbol of metamorphosis – and, thereby, for Pistons & Pretzels.
Since its founding in 1930, Pininfarina has been a global symbol of Italian style, blending timeless beauty, engineering excellence, and innovation. Evolving from a small coachbuilding workshop into an international group, Pininfarina today is a leader in automotive and industrial design, architecture, and engineering services.
Beyond its celebrated expertise in car design, Pininfarina continues to pioneer in areas such as aerodynamic research - operating its own wind tunnel based in Grugliasco, Turin - and sustainable mobility projects, from electric and hydrogen vehicles to yachts and high-speed trains. Pininfarina’s multi-disciplinary approach has delivered over 1,450 automotive projects and 750 product and architectural designs, earning over 90 international awards in the past decade alone.
WHAT THEY’RE BRINGING:

Mythos
Unveiled at the 1989 Tokyo Motor Show, the Mythos was designed as a stylistic exercise embodying the tradition of the dream cars which made Pininfarina famous in the Sixties. It is not meant to be a mere sculpture, even if the volume ratio is dealt in a provocative way. Instead, it intends to revel all its aggressiveness in the way it attacks the road. It has Ferrari Testarossa mechanics and is a return to the fascination of the Ferrari two-seater barchetta. Only one example was built, which is preserved at the Pininfarina HQs in Cambiano – and now showcased at Pistons & Pretzels.
Sergio
Unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the two-seat barchetta was developed in memory of Sergio Pininfarina. Based on the Ferrari 458’s mechanics, it represents a radical and essential interpretation of the roadster concept: open body, clean lines, sculpted surfaces, and no superfluous elements. The windshield was replaced by a “virtual windscreen,” developed in the Pininfarina wind tunnel to deflect airflow over the driver’s head.

Battista Edizione Nino Farina
Born from the award-winning Battista electric hyper GT, the Battista Edizione Nino Farina represents the pinnacle of the brand’s contemporary vision, combining extreme performance with refined styling in an exclusive edition inspired by the first Formula 1 World Champion. Finished in Rosso Nino livery with Glorioso Gold details and “01” decals, it delivers 1,900 hp and record‑breaking acceleration figures.
WHAT THEY’RE BRINGING:
The Stradale is the first road-legal car from Dallara and one of the most iconic Italian cars of the 21st century.
Conceived as a coherent road experience, it translates Dallara’s racing DNA beyond motorsport.
Thanks to Granstudio’s phygital workflows and its blend of sculpted design and engineering, the Stradale represents the best of modern Italian design, turning Giampaolo Dallara’s vision into a reference point for the supercar world.

WHAT THEY’RE BRINGING:

Widely regarded as the world’s first true supercar, the Miura did more than establish the creative genius of designer Marcello Gandini during his work with Bertone. It redefined car design and influenced Italian culture for generations to come.
Now, it’s been 60 years since the Miura changed the course of automotive history. On June 7, we are honoured to celebrate its legacy at Pistons & Pretzels Turin.
Because as part of its anniversary journey, the Miura will make a stop at our get-together.
Enjoy a selection of mouthwatering food and refreshing drinks – whether it’s for lunch, a quick snack in between, or a shared aperitivo.
Available to all our visitors for purchase on-site.
The beating heart of Docks Dora, Amen Bistrot is a meeting point where urban aesthetics blend with authentic, vibrant cuisine and the rhythm of parties. A haven of contemporary social life that combines the post-industrial charm of Turin with a beautiful green outdoor space—perfect for experiencing a unique mix of taste, music, and nature.
