Our Pistons & Pretzels car design gathering returns to Italy in a super exclusive venue!

We launched Pistons & Pretzels in 2019 in Munich to create a relaxed and inspiring space where automotive, transportation, and mobility designers could meet, share ideas, find new opportunities, and fuel their passion for design. Since then, the event has travelled to Munich, the UK, Sweden, and California - and now, in celebration of a very special anniversary, it’s coming to Cambiano, Italy.

This year, Pistons & Pretzels will take place on June 8th, 2025, at the iconic Pininfarina headquarters in Cambiano, just outside of Turin. This extraordinary location is the heart of Pininfarina: home to the Design Center, the company museum, and the exclusive atelier where one-offs and limited series vehicles come to life. We are proud to celebrate this event in honor of Pininfarina’s 95th anniversary, a milestone for one of the most influential names in automotive, architecture and industrial design.

Experience Highlights at Pistons & Pretzels – Exclusive Guided Tours

Discover the art behind Pininfarina’s masterful craftsmanship during our exclusive guided experiences:

• Automobili Pininfarina Atelier: From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, explore the production lines where skilled artisans meticulously bring the electric hypercar Battista to life. With four half-hour time slots available, each accommodating 30 participants, this unique opportunity offers a front-row seat to the creation process.

• Pininfarina Wind Tunnel, Grugliasco: From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, enter the temple of aerodynamics during guided tours specially arranged for Pistons & Pretzels. Similar to the morning session, the wind tunnel experience is divided into four half-hour slots, with 30 participants each. Please note that reaching the facility requires your own transportation.

As always, we invite participants to bring along their own toys - cars, motorcycles - or simply join us to admire the collection, connect with friends and colleagues, and enjoy a day full of inspiration in an informal, welcoming atmosphere.

Although we at Konzepthaus are organizing this event, it will remain a non-recruitment, non-sponsored gathering -a small “Thank You” to the global car design community for your passion, creativity, and energy.

Our 500 free tickets for Pistons & Pretzels are officially booked out – grazie mille. We managed to open up 200 more spots. These additional tickets are now available by payment – simply to help cover your own food & drinks for the day. Refunds possible up to 7 days before the event.

To attend, you must be a member of the Car Design Community or be invited by a member. We reserve the right to review registrations and withdraw tickets if the attendee is not part of the car design community or a guest of someone who is, or if multiple tickets have been purchased for the same individual.
