This 5-day beginner SolidWorks automotive course introduces SolidWorks as a parametric CAD tool tailored to automotive and mobility design. Rather than teaching CAD in the abstract, we frame every session around vehicle components and the studio-to-engineering handover where parametric data really matters.
Throughout the week, participants learn how to sketch, build, and modify clean parametric parts, assemble key vehicle components, and prepare data and views for studio reviews and engineering collaboration. As a result, designers gain control over models that hold up when they need to change, rather than breaking the moment a dimension moves. By the end of the week, each participant will have created a simple vehicle-related assembly, such as a wheel, suspension, or body section, applied materials and basic visualisation, and prepared drawings and exports that plug into typical OEM workflows.
