Pistons & Pretzels - UK 2025

On May 4th, the iconic airfield grounds of Bicester Motion once again came to life as we hosted another unforgettable edition of Pistons & Pretzels. With more than 350 guests and  100 special vehicles on site, this year’s UK edition marked one of our most energetic and diverse gatherings to date.

A Showcase to Remember

This year’s Pistons & Pretzels featured an exceptional lineup of vehicles that captured the spirit of innovation, performance, and bold design.

Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (M.A.D.E) joined us as a key partner, offering a glimpse at their bold design direction. The BE 6 and the Thar.e showcased Mahindra’s evolving approach to electric mobility, right from their cutting-edge design studio in Banbury, UK. Both models stood out not only for their aesthetics but also for their future-focused design language and sustainable innovation.

Lotus Cars brought serious excitement with a four-car fleet that highlighted the brand’s thrilling range. Guests explored the electric hyper-SUV Eletre, the striking new Emeya GT, and the beloved Emira, Lotus’s petrol-powered sports car. But the true showstopper was the Evija—the world’s first all-electric British hypercar. With 2,000 PS, 0–62 in under three seconds, and a top speed of 218 mph, this rare machine drew a constant crowd.

Wrapping up the lineup with futuristic flair, General Motors brought their Corvette Concept—an electric hypercar unveiled in connection with the opening of GM’s Advanced Design Studio in Leamington Spa. Blending Corvette’s heritage with forward-thinking design, it offered a rare glimpse into the brand’s electrified future and left many in awe.

Action on the Asphalt

The track experience returned with roaring success. With a queue that seemed to never end, guests jumped at the chance to get behind the wheel and take their own cars for a spin. The sound of engines, the excitement in the air, and the smiles on faces made it clear - this was a highlight for many.

Pretzels, People & Perfect Vibes

True to its name, Pistons & Pretzels delivered on all fronts: stunning vehicles, vibrant conversations, and, of course, snacks. Guests mingled over pretzels, coffee, and food, sharing stories, making new connections, and celebrating a shared love for automotive design and culture. The atmosphere was light-hearted, energetic, and full of good vibes - the kind that reminds us why we started this in the first place.

A Community-Driven Tradition

Since 2019, Pistons & Pretzels has grown into more than just a car event - it’s become a community gathering. A place where creativity meets horsepower, and friendships form over shared passions. This year’s UK edition was a strong reminder of that spirit.
