Pistons & Pretzels - Turin 2025

Pistons & Pretzels Turin 2025

On June 8th, our Pistons & Pretzels community came together in Cambiano for an unforgettable day at the legendary headquarters of Pininfarina. With its rich legacy and ongoing innovation, the venue perfectly reflected our mission: to connect and celebrate the world of automotive design.

The day kicked off with exclusive Atelier tours between 11:00 and 13:00, offering guests an intimate look into the craftsmanship and vision behind Automobili Pininfarina. The tours revealed the passion and precision that go into shaping their cars!

At 12:00, the spotlight turned to the next generation of talent during the Global Design Contest Award Ceremony. Hosted inside the iconic Pininfarina building, this moment recognized the most promising and creative minds helping to define the future of automotive design. Congratulations to the winners, and designers of the future!

The afternoon continued with another rare highlight: guided tours of the Pininfarina Wind Tunnel. Guests stepped inside the iconic testing facility where aerodynamics, performance, and design seamlessly meet — and where some of the world’s most beautiful cars have been fine-tuned over the decades.

But Pistons & Pretzels wouldn’t be complete without a stunning lineup of vehicles — and this year’s edition in Turin delivered in full force. Alongside collector cars from MAUTO, two classic Morgans, and an impressive fleet of Pininfarina icons, we were proud to welcome a range of partners who brought some of the most exciting vehicles on display:

Italdesign

Italdesign curated a design time capsule with four legendary vehicles:

  • DeLorean DMC-12 (1981)
A stainless steel cultural icon — and bold design statement that defined an era.
  • Zerouno (2017)
Limited to just five units, this race-inspired beauty blends performance and rarity.
  • Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign (2018)
A 50th anniversary masterpiece — 720 hp of power and precision.
  • Quintessenza (2025)
A modular, emotional, and sustainable concept that reimagines the future of mobility.

ErreErre Fuoriserie

Based on the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, this carbon-bodied machine brings retro racing spirit into the present. With Alcantara-lined helmet holders, Centocinque wheels, and up to 562 hp, the Giulia Alleggerita is a true design and engineering statement.

Iveco Group

A legend of long-haul trucking joined our Pistons & Pretzels line-up. The TurboStar Special Edition by IVECO reinterprets a classic from 1984 with the DNA of the modern S-Way. Featuring the original red-and-grey two-tone colorway, velvet interiors, and vintage chrome details, it’s a celebration of transport heritage — beautifully modernized.

ERRE Technology Group

An all-electric homage to a Seventies icon, the TREDIECI by ERRE Technology Group combines bold, angular design with a sculptural form language. This concept is more than a car — it’s an emotional tribute to the golden age of Italian design, created by a global team and rooted in ERRE’s boutique “Atelier” philosophy from their base in Turin.

LobArt Automobili V-ERA — A Racing Revolution

Born from the collaboration between E.G.S. LobArt and CAMAL Studio, the LOBART AUTOMOBILI V-ERA is built for the hill climb racing world. With 630 hp, just 570 kg of weight, and 1,150 kg of downforce at 200 km/h, this carbon-fiber beast is both ultra-light and race-ready. Styled by Alessandro Camorali’s CAMAL Studio, it’s a celebration of Italian design excellence and motorsport engineering at its finest.

Looking Ahead

With hundreds of design enthusiasts, industry professionals, and passionate collectors in attendance, Pistons & Pretzels at Pininfarina was not just a celebration of the past and future of car design — it was a vibrant gathering of community, creativity, and craft.

Thanks to all our partners, collaborators, and guests who made this event possible. From exclusive tours and award ceremonies to iconic cars and shared conversations, it was a day that reminded us all why we love this world so much.

Until the next one – grazie, Torino.
