Mobility Design Conference - Munich 2025
On September 8, we had the pleasure of once again hosting the Mobility Design Conference 2025. A unique opportunity for the industry to get together in person. Outside the usually busy schedules. Across fields. Across borders. Whether it’s reconnecting with old friends or meeting new faces.
Key themes and learnings of the day
The MDC brings us together. And that is now more important than ever. Because it turns out, we're currently all facing the same challenges and asking the same questions. And only in sharing our experiences, exchanging our thoughts, and learning from each other, we can spark bold ideas that move Mobility Design forward.
In twelve panels, the MDC focused on three key streams: Colour, Materials, and Finish (CMF), User Experience (UX) & Brand, and Process, Tools & Creativity. In each session, globally renowned industry experts dived deep into industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, opening up a space that planted the seeds for how the next era of Design can be reimagined.
Our key takeaway: The industry is going through a big transformation, once separated areas are converging, and new opportunities are arising. Especially, the growing relevance of CMF opens up many doors, creating exciting chances on the intersection with other areas like UX design.
So thank you so much to everyone that made the event so incredibly special: our brilliant speakers and wonderful moderators, visionary partners, and our passionate guests. And also to the HFF Munich for welcoming us at their wonderful location, which in itself was a highlight of the day.

Ending the evening on a high note
And after a quick pit stop, we headed straight over to ZIRKA, where our evening programme awaited: the legendary Designers Night.
No business. No agenda. Just a big bunch of designers hanging out, sharing a few drinks, and enjoying good music. Although — when this many creative minds get together, visionary ideas are bound to find their way into the conversation. And that’s exactly what we love about our community!
